Canyon State Dent Repair is a one-man mobile paintless dent repair business in the East Valley of Arizona. This page explains what the website collects, why, and how to make it stop. It is written to be read rather than to be legally impressive.

What we collect, and why

What you type into the quote form

Your name, your mobile number, a description of your car, and the photos you attach. We use them for one thing: to work out what your dent will cost and to text you back. Photos are stored so we can look at them again if you call later about the same job.

What your browser reports automatically

Pages you looked at, roughly how long for, which site or search sent you, and general things about your device such as screen size and browser. We also record when someone taps the call button, the text button, or submits the form. That is how we tell whether the website is actually producing work rather than just existing.

What we do not collect

No payment details are taken on this site. We do not ask for your address until we are booking the job, and when we do, it is by text, not here. We do not collect anything about children, and this site is not aimed at them.

Who else sees it

Three companies, and no one else:

• Google. Analytics, Tag Manager, and Google Ads conversion tracking. Google sees the automatic browsing information above, and it is told when a quote request happens, but it is not sent your photos.
• Meta. The same, for Facebook and Instagram advertising, if and when we run any.
• Our hosting and email providers, who necessarily handle the form submission in order to deliver it.

We do not sell your information, and we never will. We do not share your phone number with other contractors, lead brokers or anybody else. If somebody calls you claiming we passed your details on, they are lying.

Advertising and remarketing

If you visit this site you may later see our ads on Google, YouTube, Facebook or Instagram. That is ordinary remarketing. It works from a cookie in your browser, it does not mean those companies were told who you are, and you can switch it off:

• Google ad settings: myadcenter.google.com
• Analytics opt-out for every site: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
• Meta ad preferences, in your Facebook or Instagram account settings
• Your browser's own controls will block or clear these cookies, and the site still works perfectly well without them

How long we keep it

Quote requests and their photos are kept for as long as it is useful to have them, which in practice means a few years, because customers come back about the same car. Analytics data follows Google's own retention setting, currently fourteen months. If you would rather we did not keep yours, see below.

Your choices

Text or call 480-714-8251 and ask, and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. There is no form for this and no ticket number. It is one person and he will just do it.

Arizona has no state privacy statute of its own, so no CCPA-style rights are being invoked here. We are offering the above because it is reasonable, not because a law is forcing it.

Security, honestly stated

The site is served over HTTPS and the form submission is encrypted in transit. Your information then sits in Google Drive and Gmail accounts protected by a password and two-factor authentication. That is a sensible standard for a small business, and it is not the same thing as a guarantee. No website can honestly promise it will never be breached.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. There is no mailing list to notify.
